Create a new experience teaching literature by transforming the greatest classical literary works of all times, from Renaissance, Shakespeare and Cervantes to today’s classics using technology. Recommended by ISTE’s Literacy Network (formerly known SIGLIT)

Get to know our online film festival where you will find classical works of literature adapted by our students and learn how to edit a video using Premier Pro.

This project was designed in literature class to create an impact in our students and get to know how the man has thought through history.

One of our purposes is to promote our students’ work, which consists in adapting classical literary work to a script, film a short movie where they will show the content of the lectures read in class. This short movie will be edited using the program Premier Pro.

Using moodle we present trailers to our school’s community, besides, we will present the nominations for the following categories: Best movie, script, artist, visual and sound effects and digital poster.

Create a film festival using our methodology and enjoy our students’ presentation, in which they will demonstrate the use of technological tools to edit a professional video.

During the presentation participants will have access to our moodle website being able to observe different short movies.

Outline

Participants will have access to the methodology, instructions guides and short movies filmed by our students through our website, so it can be implemented in your school. Also, we will have a podcast with some testimonies.

Students will developed reading and writing skills by adapting classical literary work to a script, film a short movie where they will show the content of the lectures read in class
